What we collect

When you apply, we keep what you give us on the form: your name, email, phone, school or employer, title, certifications, experience, the brands you know, the hours you’d like, any link you share, whether you’re open to video, how you heard about us and who referred you.

When you log in, we keep your account email, a securely hashed password handled by our authentication provider, and a record of your sessions on the Reviewer Desk: when they started and ended, the active time logged, and the questions and pages you reviewed.

How we use it

Application details are used only to decide whether to invite you to the board and to contact you about it. Session records are used to pay you for your time and to document what was verified and by whom. Your name, credential and school appear in the byline of pages you approve.

We don’t sell or share this information with anyone outside Engine Supply and the services that run this site (hosting, database, email delivery). Ask us to delete your application or account at any time by writing to techboard@enginesupply.com.
